Located amidst the dense forests we can find the Meji Shrine which covers 174 acres of land between Shinjuku and Shibuya, two popular localities in Tokyo. With thirty million visitors annually, the shrine is known for its history and today we find Shinto weddings and parties taking place. It was established in the year 1958 after a war in 1945.The highlights of the place include treasure museum, Iris gardens, The Kakuuntei Teahouse and Gardens and Kiyomasa's Well. We can explore some of the personal things used by the emperor at the museum. The tea house captures lush greenery to one's eye and Iris gardens is a treat to visitors with purple and white flowers. The well is showered with continuous showering water.
