#11 Bangladesh
Bangladesh, officially known as People's Republic of Bangladesh is located in South Asia. Although it is not an island, the country experiences floods that cover about a quarter of the country every year. It faces the Bay of Bengal to its south and bordered by India on the north.
The climate change makes the floods worse and the 156 million people in the country are learning on how to live with the effects. The farmers in the country have created agriculture that floats on rafts. The rafts are made of straw, rice stubble and a weed called water hyacinth. Most parts of the country are less than 12m (39.4ft) above sea level and it is believed that 10 percent of the land will be flooded if the sea level were to rise by 1m.
