5 Refreshing Natural Wonders Of India

4. Bora Caves at Arakku Valley in Vishakapatnam (Andhra Pradesh)
wonder

The Borra caves in Andhra Pradesh serve to be the home for numerous formations together called speleothems.
It is known that mineral rich water keeps dripping off from the roofs of this cave, leaving behind a tiny ring of minerals. As water drops on the floor, it leaves behind another minuscule mineral deposit. Within some time these deposits form soda straws and cones on the ceiling and conical cake like structures on the floor.
Besides mineral deposits, these caves are home to some irregularly shaped structures in limestone which have been fancifully named as what they would resemble.

The Borra caves are also said to be the deepest in the country. To visit this place, one needs to be free in the months of November and December. The caves also have timing from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm.
