Mana Pass is the source of the Saraswati River, a tributary of the Alaknanda River and thus of the Ganges. In addition to that, it is claimed to be the highest vehicle-accessible pass in the world. The pass is reached from south by National Highway 58 that connects Delhi with Badrinath and Mana.
