7 Heavenly Places to Visit Before They Vanish
Great Barrier Reef Australia: The Great Barrier Reef is the world's largest reef system composed of over 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands stretching from over 2,600 kilometers. The reef is located in the Coral Sea, off the coast of Queensland in north-east Australia.
We can find Swarms of neon-colored fish, vibrant coral in vivid hues, algae, sharks and all sorts of strange darting life forms in that reef system. Presently, it is threatened by climatic changes as around 25 percent of the world's coral reefs have already disappeared and nearly 70 percent are under threat. With rising fluctuations in the weather and rising sea temperatures, corals are devoid of their bright colors. If the change goes on this way; not far is the day when we'll not see the corals anymore.
Mississippi River Delta: Mississippi River Delta is referred to as America's great natural resources. But, in the recent times, global warming and drastic climate changes have spell havoc on this region.
The result is not only the vanishing Mississippi river but the region is experiencing damage through several sea storms and hurricanes. The major aftermath of global warming is loss of wetlands and thus loss of large part of flora and fauna spread on it. Currently, the Mississippi River Delta is battling with these problems, and there are chances that the presence of this delta could disappear in near future.
