A Ride in the Wild Jungles of India

Corbett National Park and Sanctuary:

Corbett is carpeted well with thick vegetation across the plateaus. The entire forest is covered with thick grasses, shrubs and reddish leaves towards the hillside. There are over fifty mammals, 580 birds and 25 reptiles residing in the forest. Being one of India's oldest jungles, it is den to ferocious tigers. According to a recent survey, there are around 164 tigers present now. Other visual treats that a person enjoys on safari rides are, leopards Himalayan black bears, wild elephants and boars.

The best season to visit is from Oct-Jan in winter and Feb- June in Summer. The timings are usually preferred post six in the evenings or at midnight .Since Corbett is located in Uttarakhand, there are other amazing sites that you can visit in the North, namely Nainital, Ranikhet, Mussoori and Deharadun.

1: EVERY THING IS NOT RIGHT ....DE FACTO THE WILD LIFE PRESERVERS HAVE FAILED TO STOP ELEPHANTS CORRIDOR OUT FROM THE INDIAN RAILWAYS,RELOCATING ONE HORN RHINOS SAFE FROM FLOODS AND POACHERS AND ABOVE ALL THE SAFETY OF THE LEOPARDS AS THEY ARRIVE IN THE TEA GARDEN TO GIVE BIRTH.
