Hassan to Belur - Halebid
Not an expressway, but rather an offbeat road, the Hassan-Belur road ensures a unique experience, with its smooth, well paved tarmac and almost empty traffic. Hassan is a small town situated just 130 kms from Bangalore, and the road from Hassan to the twin temple city of Belur and Halebid is what we are talking about. 9: there is no mention of any roads of rajasthan either. Road from Pokharan to jaislmer is an excellent one, straight road for around 40km stretch, no bends to turns and no speed breakers. and very less traffic. right through the dessert.
