Rs 6 lakh per night stay: Most Expensive Indian Hotels

The Leela Palace Kempinksi, New Delhi

Situated in the posh Chanakyapuri, the Leela Palace, which boasts of bullet-proof windows, cost about Rs 18 billion to build. The Leela Palace is a beautiful architectural blend of northern Indian palaces and the colonial splendor of Lutyen's Delhi. The Presidential Palace, Prime Minister's office, various international embassies, the central business districts and exquisite shopping are all a short distance from this hotel. The Leela Palace New Delhi opened in April 2011. The palace is inspired by Sir Edwin Lutyens Delhi.
A night's stay at the grande deluxe room could cost you up to Rs 25,000 and at their Maharaja Suite would cost about Rs 4.5 lakh

1: Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur is really one of the most expensive hotels in India. I have read many traveler reviews on and I am pretty amazed with the traveler feedback.
