The country that is plagued by civil unrest and violent Islamic extremism is definitely not a country on any travelers' radar, and it is for a reason. Landmines, political unrest, frequent bombings, continual terrorist attacks, and high risk of kidnapping, are a few things that keep people away from visiting this place.



Somalia
Somalia is unsurprisingly, the most dangerous place on the planet. Yes, the country is home to the largest coastline on the African continent, beautiful Almadow Mountains and good hotels, but none even in their dreams consider it as a tourist destination. Thanks to the high poverty rates, rocky government and constant bloodshed among warlords seeking to gain control of drug mafia and weapons trafficking, the country which was once beautiful has become a burning wreck.
