Countries That Are Dangerous, Yet Beautiful

Haiti
It is no surprise that Haiti, which is one of the least developed, poverty ridden nations on the Western Hemisphere, is on the list. Crime is rampant almost at all times in this region and as per the U.S. State Department, there are no "safe" place on this Caribbean archipelago.






Iraq
Iraq, once renowned as the most dangerous place on earth, has calmed down, just a bit after the American invasion. But it is still not a country favorable for tourism. The withdrawal of foreign military forces as created in a very volatile political climate and has left its people in a precarious situation. Years of bombings and counter bombings have destroyed most of the country’s infrastructure. And adding fuel to the fire is the intermittent suicide bombings, random gunfire and roadside bombs that continue to wreak havoc in the country.
