Kemman gundi hills
It is surrounded by Baba Budangiri hills in the district of Chikmagalur, comprising of streams, waterfalls and green cover. It is at a distance of 275 kms from Bangalore and is at an altitude of 1434 meters above sea level. The place has Rose garden, Hebbe waterfalls and Kahatti Giri waterfalls. There are various forest bungalows and dormitories for a pleasant stay at the hills. A panoramic view of the tall Mullayanagiri hills can be witnessed from this place.
B.R Hills
The Biligiri Ranga Hills is encompasses the forest region, home to Tigers and other big cats, Elephants, and other indigenous species of plants and animals. It is located at around 180 kms from Bangalore and is between Cauvery and Tungabhadra rivers at a height of 5,091 feet above the sea level. It connects both Western and Eastern Ghats. The weather is very captivating, with winter temperatures ranging from 9 to 16 degree Centigrade, with summers at 23 to 30 degree centigrade.
Kuduremukh Hills
The hill station is well known for its breath taking views overlooking the Arabian Sea and many hills attached to it, many of which are still unexplored by the tourists. It is at a distance of 95 kms from Chikmagalur town. The area is famous for its richness in iron ore and is at an altitude of 1892 meters above the sea level. Its mesmerizing grasslands and forest cover make a memorable journey among the hills.
Coorg
Located at 252 kms from Bangalore, the hill station of Madikeri offers a visual delight, encompassing cascading waterfalls, misty hills, and coffee plantations seemingly ubiquitous. Titled as "The Scotland of India", the place is near the source of the revered river Cauvery. It has a lot of religious significance associated. The place is renowned for preparation of some delicious lip smacking pork curry and dishes. It has many resorts, which are well kept and serving all around the year.
