Xi'an holds a prominent position in the history of China as it is one among the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China. The city has a rich and culturally significant history and it is also recognized as the Natural History Museum, because of the cultural remnants and sites found here. The Museum of Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses in Xi'an is referred as ''the eighth major miracle of the world''.

1: Title is certainly wrong. It is true that Jeruslem is one of the oldest cities apart from Rome.
Even one city from China is there. What about cities from Grece? Athens? Consider the times of Alexander and Asoka. Why not Patna, capital of Asoka? What happened to Hastinaput (Delhi)
