Talakaveri
Talakaveri is the Birth Place of Kaveri River. Located in the Brahmagiri hill near Bhagamandala, which is one of the 7 sacred rivers of Sapta Sindhus of the Hindu scriptures. It's around 1,276 m above sea level. Talakaveri is about 8 km away from Bhagamandala and 48 km from Madikeri. The temple here is dedicated to Lord Agastheeswara, which denotes the link between Kavery and Sage Agasthya. It is also marked by a small temple, and the area is frequented by pilgrims. There are 2 temples, a Shiva temple and with a rare and ancient Shiva Linga, and another temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha. However, there is not a permanent visible flow from this place to the main river course except during the rainy season.

Mallalli Falls lies in the foot of Pushpagiri Hill Ranges, where Kumaradhara river takes a plunge over 200 feet . The falls is situated in Bettadahalli Gram Panchayat in Somwarpet Taluk of Coorg.mallalli water falls.Mallalli Falls is one of the most beautiful water falls in Coorg. This River flows down to Mangalore through Kukke Subrahmanya.Mallalli falls is around 25 kilometers from Somvarpet or 42 kms from Kushalnagar. The water fall is only accessible by foot as the roads are very narrow and rugged.Monsoon as usual is the best time to see the real Mallalli Falls as there will be plenty of water which gushes down from the river and the mist and the green hills around adds to the beauty of Malalli Falls and the water usually dries up during summer.
